Qualities
*You can thank God and the U.S. President that standing between you and all those alien whack jobs… there’s me. And my Power Prism. And that willingness to do whatever it damn well takes to keep you safe.
*Hardcore patriot.
*Loves to explore space, meet new alien species, and kill them.

Background

Doctor Spectrum is a colonel in the U.S. Air Force. While conducting a space walk as an astronaut, he found a Power Prism and became Doctor Spectrum. He was a member of the Squadron Supreme of America, which were the world’s premiere superhero team.  He also went out into outer space and began eliminating aliens to impose the United States’ will upon them and who he felt were a threat to future American space settlers. He often imprisoned those he fought in Knowhere, a cosmic prison he built in the head of a Celestial he once killed.

He once battled the Mad Titan Thanos, witnessing the villain get turned into dust by the Infinity Stones. When a mysterious object began approaching Earth, Doctor Spectrum traveled into outer space to intercept. He was shocked to discover that the object was Thanos, who had returned from the dead and was now using the Infinity Stones in the form of rings. The pair then battled each other. Spectrum defeated Thanos by blasting off his right hand with an energy weapon construct and then imprisoned him in Knowhere.

Spectrum’s actions made him many enemies among the alien races he attacked. So, they hired the bounty hunting duo of Rocket Raccoon and Groot to kill Spectrum before he could inflict any more havoc. Rocket attacked Spectrum after he delivered Thanos to Knowhere. Using a weaponized Groot and space maggots, Rocket tried killing Spectrum, but Spectrum was able to resist Rocket’s attacks and kill Groot. After knocking Rocket around, Rocket unexpectedly received the Star Brand and continued battling Spectrum. The two fought each other using different weapon constructs until Spectrum used Many-Angled Ones he imprisoned in his Power Prism to subdue Rocket. Spectrum then tortured Rocket by plunging him into a supernova to get him to reveal who hired him before Rocket eventually died.

Spectrum and the Squadron Supreme one day met to deal with a new threat: a new team that popped up called the Avengers who planned to restore reality to its proper place. The Squadron Supreme investigated the Avengers and tracked them to Africa where they discovered that the mythical country of Wakanda actually existed, which the Avengers were hiding at. When Wakanda’s cloaking field was disabled, the Avengers confronted the Squadron Supreme.

Spectrum was confronted by Brandy Selby, the young wielder of the Star Brand. Spectrum didn’t want to fight a child, leaving him vulnerable to Brandy’s assault who wanted revenge on Spectrum for killing Rocket. Brandy eventually used her power to melt Spectrum’s Power Prism, leaving it useless and Spectrum devastated. Reality was restored to normal when the source of the reality warp was destroyed, President Coulson’s Pandemonium Cube, and Spectrum’s memories were transferred to his Earth-616 counterpart. What became of him afterward is unrevealed.

Background

This version of the Power Princess was a construct created by the demon Mephisto and programmed by the Power Elite in cooperation with a recently-revived Agent Coulson to be a member of the Squadron Supreme of America, a superhero team sponsored by the U.S. Government. Power Princess’s programming had her believe that she was an Utopian who hailed from Utopia Isle, a paradisiac island populated by warrior women. Power Princess came to love America even more, and swore to defend it. Her civilian name was Zarda Shelton, who practiced boxing as a hobby using a dampening necklace to decrease her superhuman durability and strength. Power Princess was additionally programmed to be in a lustful relationship with her teammate, Hyperion.

Power Princess and his team were brought in to meet General Ross in order to be the U.S.’s response to the now-unaligned Avengers. The Squadron Supreme was later put to the test against King Namor and his Defenders of the Deep, countering several attacks against Roxxon in American waters.

Zarda was sparring when a group of Frost Giants from Jotunheim invaded Washington on behalf of Malekith the Accursed during his War of the Realms. As Power Princess, Shelton met up with the rest of the Squadron. They killed some of the Frost Giants and routed the remaining invaders to the Canadian frontier in Lake Erie. Coulson subsequently dispatched the team to Ohio.

Coulson attempted to warp reality using the Pandemonium Cube provided by Mephisto, creating Earth-TRN852, where the Avengers never existed and the Squadron Supreme were the world’s premiere superhero team. Reality was eventually restored by Blade the Vampire Hunter and his team of Avengers. So, Mephisto punished Coulson by trapping him in the Pandemonium Cube. Without Coulson, the Squadron Supreme fell apart, and Zarda was taken into government custody. When reality returned to normal, Zarda possessed her Earth-TRN852 counterpart’s memories. When questioned by government officials, she attacked them.

Background

Nighthawk was a member of the Squadron Supreme of America, which were the world’s premiere superhero team. His parents never wanted him and neglected him when he was a child, leaving him to be raised by their hired help. When they were murdered, Nighthawk used to tell himself that he fought crime to honor their memory, but he eventually fought crime in order to satisfy his own desires. At an unknown period of time, he consumed a serum similar to the one that empowered his Earth-616 counterpart that augmented his physical abilities, which were the greatest at night.

After returned from an experience from Battleworld, he bonded with the Venom symbiote. Nighthawk eventually ditched the symbiote when he realized that it was alive. The symbiote later bonded with the Johann Shmidt, turning him into the Black Skull. When he wasn’t Nighthawk, he represented Washington, D.C. in the U.S. House of Representatives. When he needed to be Nighthawk and Congress was in session, he had a LMD take his place.

He formerly had a partner in the Falcon, but the Falcon was killed by the Goblin. Nighthawk was so shaken by Falcon’s death that he refused to take on Miles Morales as his new sidekick and even threatened to have him arrested. When Captain George Stacy of the DCPD died, Nighthawk trained Stacy’s daughter Gwen and she became the hero Nightbird.

When Nighthawk tried to get legislation passed that would require superheroes to register with the government, this led to a civil war between him and Hyperion. To fight Hyperion, he stole the Eye of Agamotto from the Squadron Supreme’s armory and rebonded with the Venom symbiote. Hyperion felt that Nighthawk was fighting him not just because of the Registration Act but out of spite because of a love triangle between them and Power Princess. After a fight devastated the state of Connecticut, Hyperion overpowered Nighthawk and forced the symbiote off him by exposing Nighthawk to the Sun.

Following the civil war, Nighthawk and Blur formed the Secret Squadron in Europe. Nighthawk used his vast wealth to construct a base for his team beneath the River Thames in London. However, Baron Zemo considered the Secret Squadron an affront to his own goals of Hydra bringing law and order to Europe. So, he founded the Siege Society, a team of criminals of mercenaries assembled to dismantle the Secret Squadron.

By the time Nighthawk and Blur arrived to stop the Siege Society, most of the Secret Squadron members had been killed. After Nighthawk took out Sabretooth with an explosive, he went to confront Baron Zemo alone. During their fight, Nighthawk revealed that he had constructed the Secret Squadron’s base just to lure Zemo out of hiding. Nighthawk then killed Zemo. He later attended the funeral for the fallen Secret Squadron members with the surviving members.

Eventually, Nighthawk returned to the United States. When the Black Skull and a group of Hydra soldiers took members of Congress hostage as part of a coordinated assault by the Masters of Doom, Nighthawk confronted them. As Nighthawk fought the Hydra soldiers, he was aided by Blade the Vampire Hunter who questioned him about how his team changed the world. After the Hydra soldiers were dealt with, Nighthawk attacked the Black Skull, defeated him, and had him locked up in Ravencroft Asylum.

Later, the Goblin engineered a takeover of Ravencroft Asylum, forcing Nighthawk to intervene and take out the inmates. When Nighthawk reached the Goblin, he discovered that the villain had taken Gwen, who was a nurse at Ravencroft, hostage. He exposed her to his Goblin Gas and dropped her from a high place. Nighthawk caught her, but Gwen had driven insane by the gas, forcing Nighthawk to fight her. The Goblin had fell as well after being hit by Nighthawk’s projectiles and was badly injured. Goblin then revealed to Nighthawk that the whole reason for his scheme was to reveal to him his last request: do not let their world be changed as he liked it the way it was.

Nighthawk and Hyperion eventually made up in time to deal with a new threat: a new team that popped up called the Avengers that planned to restore reality to its proper place. The Squadron Supreme investigated the Avengers and tracked them to Africa where they discovered that the mythical country of Wakanda actually existed, which the Avengers were hiding at. When Wakanda’s cloaking field was disabled, the Avengers confronted the Squadron Supreme.

Nighthawk fought Blade and stunned him momentarily with a Hawkarang that delivered a powerful electric shock. As Blade got up, Blade was knocked out by Hyperion. Nighthawk and Hyperion then fought Black Panther until Hyperion was knocked out by Captain America. Nighthawk was the only Squadron Supreme member left standing. He admitted that he knew about the reality warp that changed Earth-616 to Earth-TRN852, but he preferred his reality. Then reality was returned to normal when the source of the reality warp was destroyed, President Coulson’s Pandemonium Cube, and Nighthawk’s memories were transferred to his Earth-616 counterpart. What became of Nighthawk afterward is unrevealed.

Qualities
*”My name is Stanley Stewart. The Blur. The Fastest Mortal Alive. And I have the attention span of a hummingbird on meth.”
*Loves to race against other speedsters.
*Is always doing dozens of things at once.
*Trained by the Ancient One.

Background

Stanley Stewart, better known by his hero name of Blur, was a member of the Squadron Supreme of America, which were the world’s premiere superhero team on Earth-TRN852. When Blur first obtained his powers, he went to the mystical monastery of Kamar-Taj in order to get control of his powers. His teacher the Ancient One taught him that in order for Blur to gain control over his powers, he needed to focus his attention on a single activity: namely, staring at a flower. Blur eventually accomplished the task after 17 days of attempting it.

Following a civil war between Hyperion and Nighthawk that split the ranks of the Squadron Supreme, Nighthawk and Blur formed the Secret Squadron in Europe.

Blur took out Hawkeye and Fire-Ant while running from Silver Witch. Blur eventually knocked Witch out when she let it slip that she was supposed to keep him busy while Baron Zemo fought Nighthawk alone. Blur ran back to the Secret Squadron’s base and confronted Black Widow, but he was knocked out by a shock arrow by Hawkeye. By the time Blur came to, Nighthawk had already defeated Zemo. Blur later attended the funeral for the fallen Secret Squadron members with the surviving members.

During a coordinated assault by the Masters of Doom, Blur fought the superpowered mutant the Silver Witch. She attacked him to avenge her fallen brother Quicksilver who died trying to to outrun Blur. Silver Witch had absorbed her brother’s powers upon his death, and with her brother’s speed at her disposal, Silver Witch was able to hit Blur with a high speed hex that separated part of his soul from his body, which would result in his death if he didn’t get it back. Silver Witch then banished Blur to the Dread Dimension. Blur was able to return to Earth by running faster than light and vibrating out of sync with himself, allowing himself to time-travel to the point after Silver Witch banished him. Silver Witch then unleashed another hex that robbed Blur of his super speed. Remembering his training back in Kamar-Taj, Blur focused on his surroundings, allowing him to interact with normally invisible mystical creatures. After riding on the back of a Wraith Whale, Blur took back his soul and sent the Silver Witch to Ravencroft Institute.

Blur and Nighthawk eventually made amends with the Squadron Supreme in time to deal with a new threat: a new team that popped up called the Avengers that planned to restore reality to its proper place. The Squadron Supreme investigated the Avengers and tracked them to Africa where they discovered that the mythical country of Wakanda actually existed, which the Avengers were hiding at. When Wakanda’s cloaking field was disabled, the Avengers confronted the Squadron Supreme.

Blur fought Black Panther, who was able to keep up with his speed. Blur arrogantly thought he would win until T’Challa slashed at his leg ligaments with his claws, leaving Blur unable to run. Undeterred, Blur created a whirlwind to blow T’Challa away. T’Challa returned and knocked Blur out for the rest of the fight. As Blur laid on the ground, he asked his teammates not to let the Avengers change reality. However, the Squadron failed, and reality was returned to normal when the source of the reality warp was destroyed, President Coulson’s Pandemonium Cube. Blur’s memories were transferred to his Earth-616 counterpart. What became of him afterward is unrevealed.

Background

Hyperion was the only known survivor of an alien world that was consumed by Galactus who came to Earth on a spaceship. His ship arrived in the United States, and he became a committed devotee of America. As a diplomatic gesture, Hyperion as a teenager was sent to train with the Shi’ar Empire’s Imperial Guard and developed a close bond with the team. He considered their leader Gladiator to be a mentor and fell in love with Oracle. After preventing Deathbird from taking over the Shi’ar throne, Hyperion and the Imperial Guard went to investigate Deathbird’s keep located within a bubble dimension. They learned too late, however, that Deathbird has been experimenting with a hive of Brood, which began infecting the Imperial Guard. Hyperion was able to escape but was forced to seal away the Imperial Guard in the bubble dimension.

Hyperion returned to Earth and became the leader of the Squadron Supreme of America, which were the world’s premiere superhero team. When not a hero, he was a 9th-grade American history teacher in Kensington, Maryland. When dealing with threats to America, he either killed them or banished them to the Negative Zone. Those that he banished included the Hulk after his first rampage, Doctor Doom, and his former Brood-infected Imperial Guard teammates.

He and the Squadron Supreme once battled the Canada-based Alpha Flight and was unexpectedly killed by Alpha Flight’s leader Weapon X after his adamantium claws were enhanced with magic. Hyperion later came back to life through unknown means and got revenge on Weapon X two years later after luring Alpha Flight into a trap. Hyperion brutally beat Weapon X and blasted him with his optic beam. He then had Doctor Spectrum send Weapon X to the faraway Black Galaxy to slowly die.

When Doctor Doom escaped the Negative Zone and empowered himself with the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak, becoming Dr. Juggernaut, to attack the White House, Hyperion fought him and managed to defeat him. He then sent Doom back to the Negative Zone. However, this allowed all the other villains he banished to escape, forcing Hyperion to hunt them down so he could send them back. His last foe was the Hulk who ranted about the world not being right. Fearing that the Hulk had become a monster, Hyperion felt he had no choice but to kill the Hulk with his optic beam.

Nighthawk and Hyperion eventually made up in time to deal with a new threat: a new team that popped up called the Avengers who planned to restore reality to its proper place. The Squadron Supreme investigated the Avengers and tracked them to Africa where they discovered that the mythical country of Wakanda actually existed, which the Avengers were hiding at. When Wakanda’s cloaking field was disabled, the Avengers confronted the Squadron Supreme.

Hyperion fought Thor and struggled to defeat the thunder god as Wakanda’s vibranium deposit weakened him. Eventually, Hyperion was able to knock out Thor but injured both of his hands. He then aided Nighthawk against Blade the Vampire Hunter. While Hyperion and Nighthawk held off Black Panther, he was knocked out by Captain America due to the vibranium composition in his shield. Reality returned to normal after the source of the reality warp, President Coulson’s Pandemonium Cube, was destroyed, and Hyperion’s memories were transferred to his Earth-616 counterpart. What became of him afterward is unrevealed.
