Barry Reese – Writer of Badass heroes

In addition to all the incredible books we’ve had published recently, our characters have popped up in a couple of surprising places!

First was in Ninja High School issue 200 from Antarctic Press and creator Ben Dunn! On the final page of the story a plethora of characters appear briefly and one of them is none other than the Dark Society’s JUPITER!

It was great to see Jupiter rendered in Ben’s unique style and alongside so many other great characters!

The next spot where our characters popped up was in Alter Ego # 200 (what’s with the 200s?). This magazine published by Two Morrows recently came out and celebrated author Roy Thomas listed his five favorite series that he had worked on. At # 1 was All-Star Squadron (one of my favorites, as well). The first issue of that series had a cover that’s been homaged many, many times… including by by my old collaborator George Sellas! Imagine my surprise when I spotted Lazarus Gray, the Peregrine, and Gravedigger in this issue!

Where will Reese Unlimited’s characters show up next? Honestly, nobody knows — I was completely unaware that they were in Alter Ego this month! I appreciate the company sending me a complimentary copy, by the way! If you spot any of our characters out there in the wild, be sure to let us know!
