Biography

After Monolith used Odin’s magical lookout to see exactly what they were up against in the Oblivion War, he sent out messages to every supernatural being, of all sorts, calling them to a formal meeting on Asgard. Freemason was among the characters who came to the ancient ruins of Asgard. Soon, former allies, enemies, powerful entities, and even formerly great Gods joined together. Monolith hoped that with strategic attacks and the combined small units he formed, they would be able to defeat Lord Oblivion’s forces. This alliance of supernatural heroes came to be called the Super Nation.

Freemason, along with the other super powered humans and entities, were given assigned packets with special directions and designated teams. Freemason joined Morningstar’s team, who then used the magical properties of the Rainbow Bridge to teleport into the enemy base in hopes of taking down the enemy’s defenses. However, Freemason was killed during the ensuing battle.

In Elementals: Ghost of a Chance, we see two new characters who are using the identity of Freemason. One of these is Jack Moody, who, at the end of the story, was still active in this role. When last seen, he was based primarily out of Malta, Istanbul… but he journeys throughout the world in service to the Freemasons organization.

Jack has been bestowed with magically-increased speed, stamina and strength. In addition, he underwent years of training in preparation for assuming the mask and identity. They have been trained in several fields of combat as well as in tactical and strategic planning and observations, special operations, and have high proficiency in the use of conventional and medieval weapons.

All Freemasons carried a small-shaped shield, of unknown composition or origin, which was incredibly durable and may have had magical properties (since that was never confirmed, it is not part of the statistics above). The shield was mostly used defensively but was also used occasionally as an offensive weapon to impale or to be used as a thrown weapon.
