Background:

Cyrus Vale, the director of a black ops government agency called Project: Umbra, managed to collect DNA from several members of the Dark Society – and using a mixture of technology and the occult, Vale grew twisted copies of the heroes. Because their growth was sped up and the DNA samples were sometimes incomplete, all of the members of the Obsidian Circle (the name given to the Society clones) were imperfect in various ways. In Wight’s case, he is incapable of surviving for very long without his exoskeleton. It powers his breathing and feeds pain-relieving medicine into his veins. As a clone of Geist, he shares the hero’s skill at tactics and espionage but he far more reliant on tech than his opposite number. Wight is close to Voidstar and usually backs the big man’s suggestions. Within the suit, Wight is seven feet tall and extremely imposing – he rarely engages his opponents in conversation, preferring to intimidate them with his size and power.
