Background:

Persephone began her existence as Lady Deadside. She was the living embodiment of the Deadside and she took a physical form in hopes of conquering the world of the living by “riding” it like some people do a Loa. In the end, she was defeated by a group of heroes consisting of Ninjak, Shadowman, Punk Mambo, the Eternal Warrior, the Geomancer, and Doctor Mirage.

The Shadowman made a bargain with Lady Deadside, however, promising to give her a chance at “living” even as she returned to the Deadside… a portion of her soul was reborn in a mortal body, taking the name Persephone. Since she’s new to the world, she has become a ward to Jack Boniface, the Shadowman. He is very protective of her and is helping her understand both her humanity and the incredible power that she wields.
