Background:

How Magna ended up in the area known as the Eternal Expanse is unknown. What is known is that she was orphaned at an early age and raised by a robot. Growing increasingly protective of the young girl, the robot performed certain experiments upon her, toughening her exterior body and teaching her how to locate faults in people and objects. By the time she was in her early teens, the robot’s central power battery went into decline and it realized that it would soon deactivate. The robot decided to track down Chaska and Ogun, two legendary rebels that fought against the evil Matriarch. The robot asked the two men to take care of Magna and, after much discussion, they agreed. Over time, they grew to love Magna like a daughter and she became an integral part in their plan to overthrow the Matriarch. Magna was invited to join the Dark Society after Matriarch was defeated but she elected to remain in the Expanse with her adoptive parents.
