Biography:
Cyrus Vale, the director of a black ops government agency called Project: Umbra, managed to collect DNA from several members of the Dark Society – and using a mixture of technology and the occult, Vale grew twisted copies of the heroes. Because their growth was sped up and the DNA samples were sometimes incomplete, all of the members of the Obsidian Circle (the name given to the Society clones) were imperfect in various ways. Voidstar was filled with jealousy that Jupiter was a superstar and loved by the masses – he wanted to kill his opposite number and take over his life. He also insisted on being treated like the leader of the Circle just because Jupiter leads the Society but he hasn’t earned the position. In fact, Voidstar has no talent at strategic planning and prefers to simply attack his enemies with everything he has. He has a close friendship with Wight, the armored duplicate of Geist, and the two vote as a bloc most of the time.
